SAG Ultra Low Budget feature film shot on various locations in northern Virginia. Despite severe emergency delays I worked closely with the Director of Photography to maintain a quick workflow and manage a quickly changing production schedule.

Short film from independent writer director. I was hired to fix technical issues with sound capture including line reading over dialogue and FPS misread issues. Based on my work I was hired again to do Sound Design and Dialogue Editing for the film.

Docuseries – Production Sound
A Blessed Life (2024*) | Surf N Motion

Docuseries examining the continued impact of the Holocaust on the family of survivors. We worked with family members to capture authentic reactions and stories. We also worked with the children and parents to capture reactions to age appropriate content surrounding family history.

Short Film – Post Sound Designer

Short thesis film for WWU Film Department. Fixed multiple issues with audio from Production Sound recordings. Post production audio treatment tools, noise removal, vocal reconstruction, ADR and foley work were extensive.

The Girl Who Cried Her Eyes Out (2023*) | Mimage Pictures

Shot on location in rural Connecticut, I oversaw a small team including Boom Operator, and Sound Utility Assistant. I trained my team to affix microphones for our 6 person ensemble cast, ensuring timely transitions with  makeup and wardrobe departments.

Recorded audio from multiple speakers including management of Q&A audio from guests during quarterly meeting and guest speaker for Lighthouse Global. Edited 4 hour conference audio to remove noise, add subtitles, and highlight guest questions.

SIFF (Seattle Int. Film Fest.) selected short film project from writer director Robert Vindall. The script necessitated special attention to sound treatment of the set to allow capture of subtle sound near Lewis McCord Air Force Base.

Corporate Ad – Production Sound

Production was on-location at corporate headquarters and dispatch centers. I was responsible for working with non-actor talent to place microphones and help create a positive and professional environment for employee testimonials.

Sci-fi proof of concept pitch for digital stream platforms. I shot for 3 days on location on Mt. Baker, WA successfully managing adverse weather conditions and rain related gear failure. In post, I was hired to compose and mix the original score.

Eddie Bauer “One Outside” film grant recipient. Production in multiple Seattle locations required quick set ups and transitions between set locations. Worked on set with non-actor talent including children.

Independent short film made in NYC. Primary set locations were at public parks or open street locations. We were able to capture clean footage and audio despite constant interruptions due the hard work and patience on the part of cast and crew.

Award winning Neo Western/Horror film winning Best Student film at Bleedingham 2021. The director and I chose to blend sound design with musical elements and altered vocal performances inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey for an unsettling, droning score.

Web Series – Production Sound

A music video/short film anthology co-created with local hip-hop talent. I worked with the production for Episodes 2 and 3, which required cross-disciplinary collaboration  with local talent from the hip-hop and music communities.
